TOWN LEAGUE PROGRAM

Coaches are needed for the spring season! We currently do not have enough coaches for the amount of kids signed up. Please volunteer to help make this spring a fun and successful season for the kids!

The EHSC Town League is designed to promote the game of soccer in the maximum number of youth through recreation-level games. The EHSC Town League provides organized games and training for the casual and beginning player and coach. For more information on the EHSC Town League, click here

TRAVEL LEAGUE PROGRAM

The EHSC Travel League is designed to promote the game of soccer for the more competitive player. Travel League players begin to hone age-appropriate individual and team skills necessary to compete successfully at soccer at age 8, and continue through high school. Spring Town League Registration Information

The East Hampton Town league provides recreational play for children in grades K-5, as well as a division for students in grades 6-8. Registration will be held Monday, February 8th, and Wednesday February 24th from 6:00-7:30 in the Memorial School Cafe.

The town league is a great experience, and the club is looking for both players and coaches to participate.

I would like to send my congratulations to John Buciak, coach of the GU-11 travel team and Charlie Orbann of the GU-9 travel team for their successful completion of the E Licensing program at the Mohegan Sun Casino this past weekend. Both coaches have completed the courses and have obtained their E-Licenses. Thanks go out for all of their hard work and dedication to our East Hampton Soccer programs and the betterment of all the programs here at EHSC.

Would also like to remind all Town League and Travel coaches that there is a Youth Module Coaches training course being held at the University of New Haven on Saturday March 13, 2010. All coaches are asked to consider attending this one day seminar. Interested candidates should contact Diane Rushin, Travel Program director for additional details and sign ups.

We would like to extend our best wishes to all EH Travel programs, coaches, players and parents who have just finished session 2 indoor soccer and best wishes for a successful 3rd session. Outdoor spring soccer begins in April 2010.

Coaches Update Center

The University of New Haven Men’s Soccer program in conjunction with CJSA will be hosting a YOUTH MODULE coaching course at UNH on March 13^th. The EHSC tries to get a group to go together each year. The cost is covered by the EHSC.

All new coaches are encouraged to attend as this is a great course for all new coaches. Contact Dave Demerchant for details.
