Bluejays have

session!!

Silent
Sidelines...... |
Silent sidelines
was intended not
to silence the
fans completely,
but to let the
kids play using
what they've
learned in
practice without
comment and
interference.
It is intended
to mininmize the
several sources
of "sideline
coaching".
The kids often
get conflicting
"help" from the
parents, coaches
and other fans.
it has been
shown that they
learn best in
the long run
when they can
apply their
skills by trial
and error on the
field. As a
parent and a
coach, I know
the temptation
to try and use
what I call my
"remote control"
on the kids to
have them do
what I think
they should do.
